Our Mission
The Japan-Denmark Film Festival (JDFF) was born in Denmark as a bridge for cultural exchange through film.
Following the Japan Film Festivals held in Denmark in 2024 and 2025, we are now pleased to announce the first-ever Denmark Film Festival in Japan.
By holding a festival in each country annually, we aim to create spaces where people can connect across borders. Guided by this vision, we seek to bring new life to the relationship between Japan and Denmark through art, dialogue, and curiosity toward the unknown.
「日本・デンマーク映画祭（JDFF）」は、映画を通じた文化交流の架け橋としてデンマークで誕生しました。
2024年と2025年にデンマークで開催された日本映画祭に続き、今回は初めて日本でデンマーク映画祭を開催します。
両国それぞれで毎年映画祭を開催することで、国境を越えて人々がつながる場を生み出すことを目指しています。
アートと対話、そして未知への好奇心を胸に、日本とデンマークの関係に新たな息吹を吹き込んでいきます。
WHO WE ARE
Japansk-Dansk Kultur Forening (JDKF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering cultural exchange between Japan and Denmark.
Our key activities include: (1) organizing film festivals, (2) promoting film co-productions between Japan and Denmark, and (3) offering film education programs such as training sessions and workshops with film professionals from both countries.
The JDFF organizing team is composed of passionate film lovers from Denmark and Japan, working together with film ambassadors, partners, and sponsors to deliver the best possible film experience for all audiences.
日本-デンマーク文化協会（JDKF）は、日本とデンマークの文化交流を推進する非営利団体です。
主な活動内容は：① 映画祭の開催、② 日・デンマーク間の映画共同製作の促進、③ 両国の映画関係者によるトレーニングやワークショップなどの映画教育プログラムの実施
映画祭の運営チームは、デンマークと日本の映画を愛する情熱的なメンバーで構成されています。
私たちは映画大使やパートナー／スポンサーと協力し、観客の皆さまに最高の映画体験をお届けします。
